Antiques & Things

Excellent medium-sized mall with that elusive balance of stuff that’s not too junky, but also not too precious. Awesome bargain treasures are sprinkled throughout, as are seriously nice, not-cheap yet-reasonable furniture and other pieces.

Barrett House Attic

You know those thrift stores where everything is totally crappy and you have to dig for hours to find what you’re looking for? And even when you buy something, you’re probably going to have to reattach a button/work on a stain/deal with odor from the armpit? Or those thrift stores where you’re kind of dubious about how your money or donations are being used? Yeah, well, Barrett House Attic is the opposite of those.

Free Radicals

We gotta hand it to these guys. A punk, goth & greaser-accessory shop might not seem Burque’s style, but they’ve held solid the last 4+ years, proving the interest. Buttons, band patches, body-mod accoutrements and everything in between pack out the small showroom. From the street can typically be seen a herse and some of the more amusing public signage this side of the Harold’s bathroom.
