Tuesday nights from 7-10:30, the Heights Community Center becomes extremely comfortable for old cars, girls with poodle skirts, and guys with pompadours. For $4, get a lesson in swing dancing, and then spend the night doing the Jitterbug or Lindy Hop with professionals and newbs alike. A perennial ABQ fave, this dance night is all ages, and often features a live band. You don’t have to look like you just stepped out of the year 1948 or the musical Grease, but it can’t hurt.
