Eric didn’t want to join, but the staff thought they could “work around his finan­cial dif­fi­cul­ties.” Pricey, but not the most expen­sive, and you do get what you pay for: full squash/basket/racquetball courts, yoga and pilates classes, end­less ellip­ti­cal machines, and while a locker might not be, a towel’s always avail­able. Still unconvinced?

If you don’t use the pool, courts, steam room, etc., why pay for ’em? Ample bikes, machines, weights and mats, plus a sauna, for kicks. Started in Rio Ran­cho 25 years ago, this a far cry from the BofA of gyms, where it’s easy to anonymize in the expanse of muscle-buried ego.
