Southwest Women's Health

The wait is months-long, but worth it. Doctors Shoden and Williams profess healthcare for women, by women. While you may never see either of those doctors, their nurse practitioners are thorough, friendly, and totally capable. Even in the current age, it can be hard to find a lady doc who doesn’t treat you like your bits are shameful. Not so at SW Women’s Health. They also care about more than just your vag — they take your mental and general wellbeing into consideration, too. Just call ahead and beware the cranky, stressed-out admins!

The shop maybe smaller than some of the others in town, but they stock everything. Factor in the extra half hour for a hearty and satisfying browse.

The Sports Clubs

The Sports Clubs

Yes, remarkably

If you don’t use the pool, courts, steam room, etc., why pay for ’em? Ample bikes, machines, weights and mats, plus a sauna, for kicks. Started in Rio Rancho 25 years ago, this a far cry from the BofA of gyms, where it’s easy to anonymize in the expanse of muscle-buried ego.
