Bus
Burque recently introduced a $2 day pass, which for most people is tantamount to the traditional $1-each-way. Students age 10 to high school with valid school ID ride for $0.35. Schedules are almost universally printed at bus stops, and available in take-out form in most government buildings, the Alvarado Transportation Center, downtown, and at cabq.gov/transit.
Train
Some of you are figuring the drive is still cheaper, when two or more split it, and as of this printing, that’s still true. However, you may not have a car. Got a car? No wear-n-tear, and a nominal carbon footprint for the trip. Either way, get loaded and back safely, and bring your bike for extra awesome. Buy online and print before boarding for $1 off certain tickets. They’ve been expanding their station stops the last few years, and now offer service from the South Valley, Sunport (via bus), and soon the West Side. If Susana Martinez kills the Rail Runner, we should all park our cars on her lawn.
