What­ever you call it (new-New Mex­i­can?), they’re big on fla­vor and fresh­ness, with­out a hefty price. You’ll find stan­dards like green chile cheese­burg­ers and huevos rancheros, as well as pas­trami sand­wiches and to-die-for choco­late cake. Don’t miss the bacon, organic eggs, or the deep, dark red chile.

The build­ing can be a lit­tle hard to spot, but sports in– and out­door seat­ing, and a cozy, brightly-colored decor.
